Jermyn Shannon’s commitment to community is exemplified by his transformational leadership role as a Mentor for start-up farmers at Duval Soil and Water Conservation, Land Advocate at the Center for Heirs Property Preservation, and recently as a Fellow at the National Young Farmers Coalition. His passion and many talents helped GTE co-spearhead significant change in regional policy making decisions that overlap historical and heritage preservation, black farmer land rights, social justice and education reform. We are grateful for his willingness to stand on the front line despite the climate in times where many are not at the table and have no voice.
